Secret photos KYMS App Reviews

"Secret photos" are secret only because they can’t be added in the first place. This app is supposed to be able to import photos from the Photo Library, but that does not work because none of the user photo albums show. Only the system albums are available (Camera Roll, Panoramas, Recently Added, and Screenshots). Another way to add photos is supposedly using wi-fi to connect to a computer. However, this does not work either. The browser always says the connection has been dropped. Other reviews suggest that many features were broken with the iOS 9 upgrade. I submitted a ticket on the developers site, but their stock response only told me to do exactly what I told them doesn’t work. It looked like this might be a cool app, but it simply doesn’t work and I do not have confidence that the developer is doing anything to fix it.

Cant believe I paid money for this app + its so called "premium" features. Dont waste your time with this nonsense. If the developer actually paid attention to fixing bugs as the OS updates came out, it could be cool. But No. I cannot even Open the app, Play my videos, or Anything that should be standard for the ($) money I just spent on this garbage.. Save your $5 and go to McDonalds instead.

DO NOT BUY! After you upload pics for storage, the app wont let you open them for viewing, despite there being thumbnails of the pics. I recently took a trip to my hometown after being gone for nearly ten years, took a bunch of pics showing how much the city has changed and lots of pics with family that I havent seen in years. All of them gone...:( Wish I could give zero stars, this is unacceptable... Contacted the devs, their response was to upload the pics again from my camera roll, even though I told them that they were deleted...

I loved this app until I upgraded my phone to the 6s. It erased all my photos. No way to retrieve them. Its happened to several of my friends who upgraded to the iPhone 6s as well.

Was the Best of its kind. Did Work just as it says. Was Very well done. Ive added the photos and gifs I wanted just fine. But lately Ive noticed, I can only add gifs from internal browser. "Photos no longer save at full resolution". Should be able to back up an entire folder to Dropbox and import to my other devices. Please fix, and I will rate 5 again.

I would give it 5 stars if it did not crash so much.

Only contacts and the browser work without the IAP. Id be willing to do that, but there are too many iOS 9 issues. Update the app and Im in.

I have a request you should make it so you can add a custom background in the app also make a option to give request so you wont have to look at comments :)

Ive had this app for years. Cant live without it.

iPhone 6S Plus: Works for me to import photos and videos from the library. Have been able to export photos to messages but unable to export video except to iCloud which I do not currently use. I do not use it to surf or store other files. I have one other app for the purpose or storing photos and videos but do not trust it as much with its single pass code entry. I like and use the double pass code this one offers. A little more trouble to open for the user but a lot more trouble to hack by the prying eyes.

Best app ever. Possesses everything that you might need as well as nearly invisible for others.

The app works great. Does all that it says. One issue... The app desperately needs a texting function to send and receive inside the app. That would take this to a whole new level.

This app works great!!! I store a lot of pics and videos and no one has been able to find them!!! Love it!!!

I havent found anything like it its incredible. Believe me I looked around and continue to do so. They cover mostly all of the important bases believe me. A couple of things I think are missing and this is far fetched but; if there was a way you could hide other apps inside the KyCalc app and make phone calls/text messages from inside the app that would just make it the complete James Bond app. But trust me, even without those features it doesnt change the way I feel that no one comes close to the simplicity/functionality as well as the detail/design that went into this gemstone. I never write reviews but felt I had to do one for these guys... Thanks KyCalc for creating my favorite app always improving your software. -Dannon-
